My family and I visited AAUF while we were on a vacation in Fujairah. Nothing could have prepared us for the experience- there are so many dogs of various shapes and sizes and all of them truly gorgeous. They were friendly, affectionate and greeted us joyously! My daughter commented that they looked really well looked after and the shelter was clean, too – full marks to the caretaker. Having seen 1st hand, their hard work, passion and commitment to animal welfare motivated my family to volunteer and help whenever we can – through food donations, cash contributions, fostering, helping with pick ups and drop offs. It’s so fulfilling and rewarding I would encourage others to get involved in anyway they can. No help is too small or insignificant – they really need our support to continue the inspiring work they do.
